Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) Palliative Care New

NJ Palliative Care Solutions, in partnership with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our palliative care team in New Brunswick, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a leading academic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver inpatient palliative care consultations including patient evaluations, symptom management, and care planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, social workers, and chaplains as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and families navigating complex medical decisions.
• Participate in family meetings, care conferences, and hospital-based initiatives.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of clinical care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New Jersey.
• Prior experience in palliative care, hospice, internal medicine, oncology, or geriatrics preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient and family engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, academic hospital environment.
