Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oncology and BMT Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team with one of the top hospital systems in the country. This position is located in Manhattan and is working with pediatric BMT patients. The role is specific to Bone Marrow Transplant and not traditional oncology, there would be no procedures required.

The pay range for this position starts at $120-$140/hour W2 (negotiable based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

- 3-8 Pediatric BMT patients/day

- No procedures required

- Admissions

- Discharges

- Medication prescribing

- Patient and family education

- Interdisciplinary rounds

- Family-centered rounding

- Consultations

- Documentation

- Discharge planning

- Medication reconciliation

Qualifications

- NY state license required

*You will be working with Pediatric BMT patients but it is not required to be a Pediatric NP since there are no procedures for this role*

- Must be Board Certified

- DEA required

- EMR: Epic

Working Hours

Full Time: Night shift (7p-7:30a)

Duration: 13 weeks, potential to extend
